YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
In cooperation with our client, one of the biggest automotive manufacturers worldwide, you contribute significantly to the compliance of purchasing processes and manage resulting processes. You monitor, support and optimize internal purchasing processes.
- You carry out market analysis as well as price comparisons in the supplier markets.
- You list order requests, you handle orders, and negotiate pricing.
- You check, coordinate and follow up delivery schedules in compliance with suppliers.
- You work together with interdisciplinary teams:(purchasing, supplier, program development, engineering, finance etc.)
- You organize meetings to adjust actions with different departments.
- You help develop recommendations for cost saving vehicle modifications.
- You constantly analyse results and induce corrective actions
YOUR PROFILE:
- You have a degree in engineering or economics or an equivalent with expert knowledge. This is the basis you stand on.
- But even more important than your theoretical background are your practical skills and expertise for us. First experience/ internship in purchasing would be an enormous advantage.
- Even better: You gained first working experience in a technical profession, preferably in the automotive industry.
- You have very good MS Office skills and you master written and oral English on a suitable level.
- There you go! You’ve got already 90%!
